Product Introduction
The 500 Kva Distribution Transformer is well-suited for small-scale power consumption scenarios. It adopts imported high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets stacked to form the iron core, which significantly reduces no-load loss and current. Equipped with oxygen-free copper windings, the transformer ensures efficient and stable operation. The 500 Kva Distribution Transformer adopts the Dyn11 vector group, offering advantages such as minimizing harmonic impacts on the power grid, stabilizing output voltage, improving power supply quality, and guaranteeing the safe and stable operation of electrical equipment.
Hozee Electric ensures every delivered transformer meets quality requirements through strict quality management and process control, achieving a 100% acceptance test pass rate. To date, we have maintained a factory zero-failure rate standard and garnered high recognition from customers and the market. Our three-phase transformer designs comply with major international standards, including IEC, ANSI, and DOE.

Customizable production
Different climatic environments and application scenarios have imposed higher requirements on transformer models and types, greatly limiting the use of conventional models. Our company boasts a professional technical team with over 10 years of experience, which can accurately match the most suitable transformer based on the power demands proposed by customers. It only takes 3 working days from requirement confirmation to design drawing finalization, and the production cycle is 20% shorter than that of peers, ensuring timely product delivery without delaying your project schedule.
Customer Case
This 500 Kva Distribution Transformer is a customized product for Iraq. To cope with the local high-temperature environment, we have optimized its structure and added an oil circuit to enhance the internal circulation and heat dissipation of the transformer oil. Meanwhile, the transformer enclosure is made of 5mm cold-rolled steel plates and coated with outdoor-specific anti-corrosion paint, with the area of the cooling fins on the enclosure increased by 15%. After a 16-hour temperature rise test, this transformer achieved a temperature rise of 55K, enabling it to adapt perfectly to Iraq's high-temperature conditions. Additionally, targeted sealing treatment has been applied to resist Iraq's harsh sandstorm environment.

Transformer drawings
To combat the impact of high-temperature environments, engineers at Hozee Electric have optimized the transformer structure by adding oil circuits to enhance the internal circulation and heat dissipation of transformer oil. Meanwhile, a fully sealed design is adopted to effectively isolate air and moisture, preventing insulation oil degradation and insulation material aging, improving operational reliability, and eliminating the need for core lifting and daily maintenance.

equipped with a tap changer, when the input grid voltage fluctuates, the winding tap can be switched to change the turns ratio, stabilize the output voltage, and avoid equipment damage or low efficiency due to high voltage. There are usually 5 gears.
Transformer sealing
The sealing materials of the transformer are required to be oil-resistant, high-temperature resistant, aging-resistant, and have reliable sealing performance. The common materials for different parts are as follows:
Tank joints: Oil-resistant nitrile rubber sealing rings are used, which can withstand oil temperatures above 100℃ and have strong oil swelling resistance.
Connection between bushing and tank: Sealed with silicone rubber gaskets, which combine elasticity and weather resistance to adapt to temperature fluctuations.
Tap changer shaft end: Fluororubber sealing components are adopted, featuring chemical corrosion resistance and ensuring long-term reliable sealing in oil-immersed environments.
These materials ensure a fully sealed structure, effectively isolating air and moisture and extending the service life of insulation oil.

FAQ
Q:How to determine the rated capacity of a transformer?
A:Typically, the rated capacity is selected based on the total power of the equipment plus a margin of 20%-30%. For example, if the total power of the equipment is 10kW, it is recommended to choose a 12-13kW transformer. This ensures the transformer will not be damaged due to overloading during operation and also meets the startup requirements of the equipment.
Q:What is the purpose of UL certification?
A:UL certification is issued by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in the United States. It is a mandatory safety certification for electrical products in the North American market. Transformers without UL certification may be detained by customs or banned from the market. In addition, UL certification indicates that the product's design, materials, and processes comply with U.S. safety standards, reducing the risks of equipment failure and fire, and providing you with safety guarantees and trust endorsements.
Q:What certification is required for transformers exported to Canada?
A:Transformers exported to Canada must comply with Canadian electrical safety standards, such as CSA standards, and also obtain certification from the Canadian Energy Efficiency Agency to ensure their energy efficiency meets Canada's energy policies. All our products have passed relevant certifications, so you can purchase with confidence.
Q:What are the special requirements for exporting transformers to Malaysia?
A:The power grid voltage in some areas of Malaysia is 415V. If your equipment is designed for 380V, you will need a three-phase transformer that converts 415V to 380V. Our products use high-quality copper wires and are equipped with overcurrent protection, overload protection, and lightning protection functions to ensure stable equipment operation. In addition, the transformers support dual frequencies of 50Hz/60Hz, which is universal and meets local needs.
Q:Where is your main market?
A:Our transformers have been exported to more than 30 countries worldwide, with core markets covering African countries, North and South American countries, and Asian countries.
