Transformer drawings
Engineers at Hozee Electric design transformer drawings in strict accordance with clients' energy efficiency requirements. To meet these high standards, we use grain-oriented silicon steel (grade B20P70) supplied by Baoshan Iron & Steel Group for the low-loss iron cores. This ensures that critical parameters such as no-load losses and no-load current fully meet the specified requirements.

FAQ
Q: What is your delivery time
A: After the drawings are confirmed, products can be delivered within 30 days. For special circumstances, prior communication is required.
Q: Why is there a distinction between additive polarity and subtractive polarity for single-phase transformers?
A: In power distribution systems, when multiple transformers are operated in parallel to supply power, it is crucial to ensure consistent polarity (subtractive polarity is the industry standard). If there is a polarity mismatch (e.g., one transformer with subtractive polarity and another with additive polarity), the secondary voltages of the two transformers will have a 180° phase difference, resulting in a voltage difference twice the rated voltage. This will induce a massive circulating current in the windings, which can instantly burn out the transformer windings and insulation, and may even cause a power grid short circuit.
Q: Why do oil-immersed transformers require 24 hours of standing before commissioning?
A: The core objective of allowing oil-immersed transformers to stand for 24 hours prior to installation and commissioning is to ensure internal insulation stability, eliminate operational risks, and ensure long-term reliable operation. The key reasons are as follows:
1. Air Removal: Vibration during transportation can cause air to mix with the insulating oil, forming bubbles. These bubbles can lead to partial discharge under high voltage. Standing allows the bubbles to rise to the conservator and be discharged, eliminating this hazard.
2. Full Insulation Impregnation: During the standing period, insulating oil seeps into the pores of the windings and insulating paper through gravity and capillary action, forming a complete protective layer. This avoids insulation failure caused by "dry areas" in the insulation materials.
3. Component Stabilization: Transportation may cause displacement of internal components such as windings or leads. Standing allows these components to reset and balances the stress on fasteners, preventing mechanical damage caused by the superposition of electromagnetic and mechanical stresses after commissioning.
4. Status Verification: A stabilized oil level enables accurate inspection. Additionally, the standing period facilitates leak testing of tank joints and valves, preventing oil leakage and overheating during operation.
